GWA disconnecting delinquent accounts

Guam - If you haven't paid your water bill head down to your nearest GWA outlet and do so now. GWA crews are out in full force across the island disconnecting customers who are delinquent more than 40 days. Since last week Monday 140 overdue water accounts have been disconnected and crews will continue to disconnect delinquent accounts through the end of the year. Utility service administrator Lisa San Agustin says any account no matter the size of the bill if it is 40 days overdue, this includes the ten day grace period and the 30 day billing period, will be disconnected. GWA spokesperson Heidi Ballendorf adds about 500 residential and business customers are delinquent. Payments can be made at GWA's Upper Tumon office from 7:30 in the morning to six o'clock at night or at the Julale Center from 9 am to 5 pm.
