Guam - KUAM'S Halloween Trick or Treat 2K and 5K saw over 900
runners come out and support the event. This year's run was held at the AK
Megalot in Tamuning. The race started and ended at AK. Runners came dressed in
costumes for a chance to win great prizes in the costume contest. There were
games for the kids and goodie bags given out to the first 750 finishers. This
year's top finisher was J.F.K runner John Aquino just over 16 minutes.
John Aquino, the 1st place finisher for the 5K race, said, "KUAM'S
5K Trick or Treat run has always been the best run. I always run it every year
starting when I first ran the first annual. The course was alright, it was pretty
hard all those hills. We had to go through 3 hills just to finish or 6 in total
but it was a fun course and I'm happy with my time."
