Guam - In fitness news Guam's Sandrine Cruz Stewart is set to compete this weekend at the Leo Palace Resort. Stewart will be one of twenty-eight local competitors representing the island at this year's Michelob Ultra Bodybuilding and Body Fitness Championships.
Stewart said, :I train 3 times a week but it's been over 3 years that I have been training, so it's an ongoing thing, building up my body. It's very simple I break it down in body parts. So maybe Monday will be back and chest, Wednesday arms and Friday legs. I like to have a cool down in between my days for my body to recuperate. My cardio has been very limited because I have been working to build my body up to grow and build mass. So throughout the year I have to build my calories so much that I do not do any cardio. It is very easy for me for the competition, 2 months ahead of time I just lower the calories and maybe walk very fast."
Check out Sandrine and the rest of your local competitors take on athletes from Japan this Saturday at the Leo Palace Resort. Doors open at 6:00 pm with the show starting at 7:00 pm.
