Guam - $5,000,000 in tax refunds will be paid out next week from Section 30 reimbursements released by the U.S. Department of the interior. According to Rev & Tax director John Camacho, there's about $30,000,000 left in past due tax refunds that needs to be paid in order to be current.

The additional $5,000,000 brings the ready-to-go-a-status refunds for 2011 and prior years down to $10,000,000. Meanwhile, there's an additional $8,000,000 left of error and suspended returns and an estimated $7,000,000 in unprocessed claims. Camacho hopes to touch base with taxpayers with error returns and resolve them by the end of the year.
