Guam - It marked the first of many more neighborhoods to come. Governor Eddie Calvo and Lieutenant Governor Ray Tenorio and Dededo Mayor Melissa Savares walked through Sagan Linayan, meeting with residents and listening to their problems. "The only way that a governor, lieutenant governor and administration can deal with issues is if we are there with the people and listen to them," said Calvo.
The governor was joined by several agency directors who will now work to help improve the conditions in the neighborhood as well as help some of the residents find jobs. All this in an effort to help end the cycle of poverty on Guam.
