The Guam Waterworks Authority has lifted the boil water notice for residents living in Agana Heights. According to a release from the utility agency, the problem has since been corrected and residents no longer would have to boil their tap water.

Samples were taken from the distribution system over the recent sampling period and have indicated that there is no bacterial contamination in those areas.

The public should be advised that water delivered to the areas meets the safe drinking water standards and are safe for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, food preparation, cooking and brushing teeth.
