Tropical Storm 18W may have ruined the plans last week, but the Team Andersen Air Show featuring the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds is back on. The free show will be open to the public and tomorrow the Thunderbirds will take local hero Army National Guard Sergeant Daniel Elliot on a ride in the backseat of one of their red, white and blue F-16s.
Elliot earned an Army Commendation medal with valor for his lifesaving actions while deployed in Afghanistan. Gates will open at noon on Wednesday and the show will include a flyby by a B-52 Stratofortress bomber, a Pacific Air Force C-17 Globemaster III aerial demonstration and around three o'clock the Thunderbird ceremony and aerial demonstration.
