The Guam Police Department's Violent Street Crimes Task Force is investigating the discovery of more than 400 marijuana plants found in Dededo today. Superior Court Marshals who were executing a traffic warrant in the northern village came upon the rather large plantation of the drug today.

Along with the marijuana plants that have a street value of more than $400,000, police also confiscated two firearms and took one man in for questioning. GPD spokesperson Officer Allan Guzman said, "The case is still under investigation and the case was turned over to the Violent Street Crimes Task Force and it's premature to say if there were any arrests or items, other than the marijuana plants that were confiscated at the scene."
