Haim Habib pleads no contest to criminal sexual conduct charges
Former attorney Haim Habib pleaded no contest to first- and third-degree criminal sexual conduct during a change of plea hearing this morning. According to the plea agreement, Habib agreed to pay a $5,000 fine along with restitution determined by the Probation Division.
Additionally, during his time behind bars Habib will undergo a psychological evaluation, along with performing 250 hours of community service. The defendant will also be placed on the Sex Offender Registry.
Habib is scheduled to be sentenced on June 6.
