Election Night ends in impasse, runoff projected
A long night riddled with contention and controversy ended unceremoniously with Guam not having any idea who its next chief executive will be. Failing to garner the required 50%+1 of the votes in a gubernatorial race that was close all night long as ballots were tabulated at Election Central, incumbent Felix Camacho may have to face his Democrat opponent, Robert Underwood, in another election - a runoff election - to determine who takes the seat at Adelup for the next four years.
Review the unofficial results by district, and also see how the final vote tallies stacked up against a University of Guam exit poll that was nearly spot-on.
