Guam - The Guam Ancestral Lands Commission denied the Joint Guam Program Office's request to conduct environmental and engineering studies at the former Federal Aviation Administration and Andy South parcels of land. It's the second such request made to the Commission.

Three years ago the Commission granted the feds' permission to conduct ecological studies, but claims the U.S. military never shared their results.

JGPO director John Jackson was not present for the meeting.
