Guam - A petition is going around the John F. Kennedy High School community, appealing to the Guam Community Improvement Foundation to drop their lawsuit and allow for the construction to begin on a new campus immediately.  Senator Eddie Calvo says while the Guam Legislature has prioritized and secured bond funding to construct a campus more than a year ago, not one ounce of cement has been poured.

Calvo in a letter to GCIF said he wants the best for the people and the Islander family. The petition includes signatures from students, parents and staff.
