Students launch first-ever RISE Teen Expo this Saturday at Agana Shopping Center

Students from Guam Community College and Simon Sanchez High School are teaming up with Junior Achievement Guam to launch the first-ever RISE Teen Expo this Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Agana Shopping Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
RISE, which stands for Reimagine, Innovate, Strive, and Empower, is a free event created for teens, by teens, aimed at inspiring and empowering the island’s youth.
Students from across Guam are invited to enjoy a full day of learning, entertainment, and prizes.
Highlights include college, career, and military booths, the launch of JA Company Products for 2025, live performances, and a teen fashion show.
A Car Show hosted by the GCC and SSHS Automotive and Trades Club will also feature prizes and collect donations for Harvest House.
Teens can earn Service-Learning Hours and compete in the School Pride Challenge, where the campus with the most attendees will win a $1,000 cash prize.
The expo will also offer resource booths focused on mental health, drug and alcohol prevention, tobacco awareness, and suicide prevention.
