Team Guam Olympian Jeff Cobb makes WWE debut

Team Guam is in WWE! Jeff Cobb, who proudly carried Guam’s flag into the 2004 Olympics, made his debut in the world’s top professional wrestling promotion yesterday, becoming part of the main roster during Backlash. He shocked the WWE Universe when he came rushing out of the crowd to help Jacob “The Samoan Werewolf” Fatu retain the US Championship. 

Jeff trained under local sports legend Neil Krantz after moving here from Hawaii and graduated in 2000 from JFK. He represented Guam in the Athens Summer Games as part of Team Guam along with Attorney Neil Weare and Dr. Sloan Siegrist in long-distance running, and Dan O’Keefe in swimming.
