In the true spirit of the season, Bank of Guam is proud to announce its $20,000 donation to four nonprofit organizations through its annual Employee Give Initiative.

Each year, Bank of Guam employees nominate and vote for causes close to their hearts, championing organizations that make a real difference in the region.

This year, four deserving nonprofits will each receive $5,000 grants to support their important missions:

  1. Guam Animals In Need (GAIN): Providing shelter, medical care, and a safe environment for animals while promoting a compassionate community in Guam.
  2. Make-A-Wish Guam and CNMI: Bringing hope and joy by granting life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses and supporting their families.
  3. Northern Marianas Humanities Council: Celebrating culture and history through programs, storytelling, and education, fostering a deeper sense of community.
  4. Palau Red Cross Society: Offering emergency relief, humanitarian aid, and health services to communities in need across Palau.

Established in 2017, the Holiday Give Initiative continues to spread kindness during the holiday season as part of Bank of Guam’s year-round commitment to “Be Kind” and “Find Kind.”

This year’s recipients span Guam, the CNMI, and neighboring islands, reflecting the bank’s dedication to making a regional impact.

Senior Vice President and Chief Experience Officer Lesley-Anne Leon Guerrero shares, “As The People’s Bank, community has always been at the heart of everything we do. Through partnerships, sponsorships, and everyday acts of kindness, we remind everyone that ‘Life is Sweeter When You Give a Little Love.’ Together, we’ve created an impact that extends far beyond the season of giving.”
