CIA employee indicted in classified documents leak awaits removal

Asif Rahman, the Central Intelligence Agency employee, who faces charges over an online leak of classified documents waits in the Guam Department of Corrections to be moved to the Eastern District of Virginia. 

As we reported, Rahman faces federal charges over an online leak of classified documents about Israel's potential plans for a retaliatory strike against Iran.

Investigators said he allegedly illegally leaked the information on Oct. 17 from locations outside the US, including in Cambodia.

Rahman is charged with two counts of illegal transmission of national defense information

He remains in custody of U.S. Marshals on Guam until they are ready to take him stateside.
