Armed, dangerous and still on the run. Police continue to search for two kidnapping suspects who allegedly forced a man into their car at gunpoint in broad daylight last week.

It’s now day five in the manhunt for two armed kidnappers who forced a man to get into their car with the victim making his escape at the Shell gas station in NCS, Dededo.

The suspects are still at large.

The reported kidnapping happened around 11 a.m. on Thursday.

The victim, a 27-year-old-man, was walking from a bus stop at White Market towards Shell gas station.

Investigators said an armed passenger forced him into the backseat of a Toyota 4-Runner, assaulted him with the gun, and demanded to know what was in his bag.

The victim told police he lost consciousness and woke up at the gas station where he made his escape.

As police continue to search for the kidnappers they said they are armed and dangerous.

Those who live nearby are left looking over their shoulders like Dededo resident Rauel Quinata.

“I don’t know what to say to that. It’s just crazy around here. Especially in this area it’s crazy,” said Quinata.

And even those working in the area like Dededo resident Henry Plais, who said, “No, I don’t feel like it’s going to be safe.”

And Sinajana resident Iggy Malur, who just learned about the incident while gassing up.

“That’s scary in the daytime. And it’s a 27-year-old? Only now, these people were telling me something happened and I thought it was a lady or a younger kid, but now you’re telling me it was a 27-year-old man. That means things can happen at any time and to anyone,” said Malur.

Gas station employees were able to take the victim to safety and called the police.

He suffered injuries to his face, head and hands.

Meantime, police continue to ask the community their help in identifying the suspects and the getaway car.

The driver seen in this photo is described as having a medium complexion, tall, balding with multiple tattoos on his right arm. He was last seen wearing a red shirt.

The armed suspect was only described as a man who was wearing a black shirt.

The getaway car is an older Toyota 4-Runner with a partial license plate with the letters A-T and a rear hatch of a different color.

Anyone with information is asked to call GPD or report it to Guam Crime Stoppers.
