One of the defendants accused in the murder of an army veteran will have to wait another week to answer to the charges in Superior Court.

Defendant Gregory Reese appeared before Magistrate Judge Benjamin Sison today.

Defense Attorney Geri Diaz told the court she had to withdraw due to a personal conflict related to the case.

Attorney Robert Keogh was appointed to handle the case.

Reese is scheduled to appear back in court on Jan. 30.

As KUAM reported, Reese, along with co-defendants Jordan Babauta, Brandon Chandler, Jason Manibusan, and Cynthia Quinata Eac stand accused in the murder of army veteran Jason Susuico.

Authorities say the alleged killing was drug-related.
