A mother and her son are arrested accused of attacking Guam police officers over the weekend.

Bayo Bye Likity, 34, is charged with two counts of assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and violation of a court order.

Tesmy To To Su Likity, 63, is charged with assault against a peace officer and disorderly conduct but is also charged with hindering apprehension, obstructing governmental functions.

According to court documents, officers responded to an apartment in Dededo where they spotted a suspect with an active arrest warrant.

Prosecutors note Bayo Litity was on probation at the time and was ordered by the court to stay away from the residence.

It was when officers told Bayo Litity they were going to take him into custody that he allegedly argued with police.

Bayo Litity allegedly refused to listen to police when he shoved the officer and tried to get away.

Bayo Litity then allegedly attacked the cop.

His mother, Tesmy Litity, allegedly tried to stop the officer from hitting her son with a baton before attacking the officer as well.

Police continued to struggle with the pair before both were eventually taken into custody.
