The alleged getaway driver in an armed robbery at Home Depot was released from prison while the robber caught on the store's security cameras remains on the run.

Forty-year-old Joshua Sablan Westfall is charged with complicity to robbery.

He was released on a $20,000 personal recognizance bond.

Westfall identified the alleged armed robber as Ed San Agustin.

Guam Police Department spokesperson Officer Berlyn Savella says criminal investigation detectives are actively searching for him.

According to court documents, authorities tracked down the getaway car that had been captured on nearby video surveillance. The alleged robber was captured on the Home Depot security cameras walking out of the tamuning store with a filled shopping cart. Store security tried to stop him when he pulled out a gun and fled.

Westfall allegedly told investigators he waited in the store parking lot before seeing the suspect pushing a shopping cart toward the entrance of Hotel Mai’ana.

Westfall also allegedly told police the suspect rushed to put the stolen items into the car before getting inside and unloading his gun.

Westfall added he allegedly dropped the suspect home, even helping him offload the stolen items, which included a generator and portable power station, estimated to cost $3,100.

KUAM files show San Agustin was arrested in 2009 in connection to an attack and shooting at a jewelry store, years after being arrested on separate charges of robbery and theft.
