Stuck out at sea, 13 people had to be rescued in deep water a couple of miles outside Tumon Bay today.

Guam Fire Department spokesperson Nicolas Garrido says rescue units got the call around 11:30 this morning of distressed recreational water crafts.

Officials found the group on seven jet skis.

Garrido says they were all taken by boat back to the Hagatna marina and did not need any medical treatment.

Rescue and hazmat crews towed the water crafts back to shore, as officials say it posed a hazard to other boaters.
