Four-way stop in effect on popular Back Road route

Residents are reminded that the intersections of Route 15 and Route 29 (Gayinero Drive) and Route 15 and Route 26 (Macheche Road) are now four-way stops. The measure went into effect today and requires motorists to stop on the north and southbound lanes of Route 15 and at the intersections at Route 26 and Route 29.

Residents are strongly urged to look out for the four stop signs and follow the new traffic measure, especially with public schools resuming class tomorrow.

Motorists are also reminded to stop for school buses when picking-up and dropping-off students.
