151 new COVID-19 cases reported

Another 151 new COVID-19 cases was reported by the Joint Information Center today from 1,433 specimens collected on July 28. Of the new cases, 12 were reported by the Department of Defense.

Eighteen people remain hospitalized due to COVID, with three still receiving ICU-level treatment and three on ventilators. Nine are admitted at the Guam Memorial Hospital, five at Guam Regional Medical City and four inside U.S. Naval Hospital. Of the hospitalized, 11 are vaccinated and seven are unvaccinated. To date, there have been a total of 55,208 officially reported cases, 380 deaths, 871 cases in active isolation, and 53,957 not in active isolation.
