On Sunday, Raising Cane's lifted its gate open to serve island residents at the Micronesia Mall. The new place to grab a bite is all about that "One Love" and is known for its quality chicken fingers.
Cane's serves a variety of menu items such as Texas toast, coleslaw, crinkle-cut fries, and freshly squeezed lemonade, and fresh-brewed iced tea.
The restaurant was originally scheduled to open on April 27, but despite the four-day delay, general manager David Martinez says that the grand opening went very well, saying, "I would call it a success. Luckily we had the mall security helping us manage the crowd. The crowd itself was great and all the customers were happy. So It went very well!"
Martinez believes Raising Cane's stands out because their menu is a lot smaller than other restaurants which would allow them to work on consistency and speed of service.
