Cans of corned beef under a nationwide recall have been found on Guam, according to the Department of Public Health and Social Services' Division of Environmental Health.
The agency yesterday issued a release on the recall of certain cans of Ox & Palm branded corned beef products because they did not undergo a USDA Safety Inspection Service import reinspection.
The cans were imported on various dates between June 6, 2020 to Jan. 21, 2021 and are labeled with various “Best Before” dates and the product cases are labeled with various shipping marks. The affected products bear “Australia Inspected” number “39” on the label and were shipped to retail locations nationwide.
Some of those products were sold at Cost-U-Less locations in Chalan Pago, Dededo, and Tamuning. If you bought any of the products, you're urged not to consume them. The cans should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
