The latest data from the Guam COVID-19 Situation Report. Sixteen new cases of COVID-19 was reported out of 541 test samples, according to the Department of Public Health and Social Services' Situation Report.
Nine cases tested positive at Public Health, three tested positive at American Medical Center, three tested positive at Guam Memorial Hospital and one tested positive at the Department of Defense.
These cases are under investigation. Of the new cases, seven cases were identified through contact tracing, four cases had recent travel and were identified in a quarantine facility. To date, there have been a total of 434 COVID-19 cases with 5 deaths, 104 active cases, 325 recovered, and seven hospitalized, according to the Joint Information Center. Of the 434 cases, 384 were civilians and 50 were military service members.
