Johnnie Del Rosario, one of two inmates who recently escaped from a Department of Corrections halfway house, has new lawyers. Attorney Ana Maria Gayle has left the case because of a conflict with a current client.

Gayle was able to get a stipulation and order of release for Del Rosario's 32 personal items he left at the halfway house. His girlfriend, Nikki Martinez, who he and co-defendant Johnny Atalig fled to during the escape, will be responsible for the items.

Judge Maria Cenzon appointed Sam Teker as Del Rosario's new counsel. Trial is set for Dec 4.
