Guam, CNMI U.S. Marshal Frank Leon Guerrero retires

Saturday marks the last day on the job for U.S. Marshal for Guam and the CNMI, Frank Leon Guerrero. He was appointed to the position eight years ago by President Barack Obama. During his retirement luncheon today Leon Guerrero said this marked this third retirement from government service.

"You never know people been asking me can I get into the local government, get into politics," he said. "We'll see, we'll see."

Fernando Leon Guerrero Sablan will be sworn in as the U.S. Marshal for Guam and the CNMI next Tuesday. Sablan was nominated to the position by President Trump. He is a retired Customs officer and was also a major in the Guam Police Department having served at the agency for more than two decades."
