United Airlines has canceled all Oct. 12 Japan flights to and from Guam because of inclement weather expected from Super Typhoon Hagibis.
More flights are expected to be canceled or changed departing from and arriving at all airports in Japan on Oct. 13. The flight schedule changes may also affect flights departing from and arriving at the A. B. Won Pat International Airport, Guam.
United has issued a travel waiver for customers traveling through the following airports between Oct. 10 and Oct. 13, 2019:
• Fukuoka, Japan (FUK)
• Nagoya, Japan (NGO)
• Osaka, Japan (KIX)
• Tokyo-Narita, Japan (NRT)
• Tokyo-Haneda, Japan (HND)
Due to the unpredictability of the storm’s path, United urges its customers to check the latest status of their flights at united.com or by calling United Reservations at 1-800-UNITED-1 (1-800-864-8331).
