JJ Ambrose and Jeff Mesa heading Down Under for MMA bout

Good luck going out to JJ Ambrose and Jeff Mesa. The two fighters will be stepping into the cage in the HEX Fight Series 18 in Australia.

Ambrose is coming off a first round submission win in WAWAN 18 successfully defending his Welterweight Belt

Ambrose said, "Training camp has been really good. We have a bunch of fighters in the gym right now that are also heading into fight camp. Ricky is fighting in Hawaii next month and I have Jeff going with me. So we have been pushing each other really hard these last couple of months and I can see good things for all of us. My opponent is a really good striker so I'm looking to take it to the ground as soon as I can. Nothing new in my game but yeah it's going to be a fun fight."

Jeff Mesa will be taking on Chris Wase. Also on the card will be Kelvin Fitial taking on Ben Sosoli.

Mesa said, "I'm just going to play into my strengths you know, I know what I'm good at and wrestled since I was 15 and my grappling is good. My boxing has been getting way better so I'm just going to go out there and fight my style of fight, not his."
