Unsealed in the District Court of Guam today, pounds of suspected crystal methamphetamine found in cargo. The case going back nearly two years. According to court filings, customs officers were inspecting cargo when they discovered more than 5-pounds of suspected crystal meth.
The items were found in a disc jockey table, wrapped in cellophane and hidden within the panels.
Another package - believed be from the same sender - contained just over 2-pounds of suspected crystal meth hidden in a white laminate cabinet. The suspected drugs were in the floor boards, wrapped in cellophane in the same fashion as the first package.
The items were repackaged and completed its route to Guam.
Court documents state the feds have interviewed parties who made the pickup, but want the cellphone company for those individuals preserved, justifying their request for a search warrant back in January 2017.
Court filings, unfortunately, don't say if any arrests were made.
