He was drinking and driving and killed one of his passengers. Anthony Jay King previously pleaded guilty to negligent homicide. This week, he was sentenced to three years in jail, the maximum sentence allowed by this plea agreement. KUAM files show that back in February 2016, King and friends were drinking at a barbecue when they made a quick trip to the store. Though he denied speeding, highway patrol's investigation revealed King was going as fast as 70-miles per hour when his car lost control and crashed. 41-year-old Mark Anthony Yamaguchi Mendiola died as a result of his injuries. King's prison sentence will start August 23.
