Another lawyer withdraws from Clifford San Nicolas' case

He won his appeal in the Supreme Court and will be tried again for murder, but first, he'll need to secure legal counsel. Yet another court-appointed attorney has filed a motion to withdraw as counsel for defendant Clifford San Nicolas. In court today, attorney Leslie Travis noted close ties to the victim's family. The court is reviewing her motion.

San Nicolas is charged with fatally shooting his girlfriend in the neck after an argument over burnt rice. He won his appeal on grounds the trial courts failed to poll jurors if they had been exposed to media reports.

A return date was set for April 20.
