Shriners team arriving to help Guam kids

Guam - A medical team from Shriners Hospital for Children in Honolulu, Hawaii will be arriving to Guam in the coming days to provide free medical consultations for children up to the age of 18 years old who are suffering from orthopedic conditions, spinal cord injuries and burns. For more than five decades Shriners Hospital for Children has been visiting Guam twice a year as part of a partnership with the Guam Department of Public Health. In order to be seen by the team however you must make an appointment.
Parents of new patients are encouraged to obtain a referral and medical summary from their child's private physician, and must provide a copy of their child's birth certificate, legal guardianship papers (if applicable), an updated shot record, and a copy of their insurance card in order to be seen. Parents of returning patients are reminded to provide x-rays and/or laboratory results as previously instructed. X-ray and/or laboratory orders can be picked up at the Department of Public Health's Medical Social Services Room 152, from 8 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday. The Shriners Outreach Clinic which will be conducted Public Health in Mangilao will be from January 26th through the 30th from eight o'clock in the morning to four in the afternoon.
