Isa Baza - Reporter

Isa Baza became the newest member of the KUAM news team in 2014. She graduated from the University of Miami in 2012 with a degree in international studies and English literature, spending a year of her undergraduate work in the UK where she studied European politics and creative writing.

Isa moved back to Guam in 2013 to pursue her Master's of Business Administration at the University of Guam. Simultaneously, she worked as a graduate research assistant for the UOG Center for Island Sustainability doing research on sustainability policy. It was here that she became more interested in policy, energy issues, and the legislative process.

Outside of work, Isa is an avid beachgoer and adventurer who enjoys staying active through everything from snorkeling to bodyboarding. She is also an avid runner, having run the Miami half-marathon in 2010, and the Norwich half-marathon in 2011. She plans to train for another half marathon in the near future, and also enjoys yoga, dance, having dinner with friends, reading novels and traveling.
