Guam - PXC 39 lit up the Ynares Sports Arena in the Philippines. Entering the cage first the bantamweights: undefeated Harold Banario verses standup specialist Adamson Torbiso. Banario proving early on he was too much for Torbiso, securing an arm bar and the victory in round one.
Next fight PXC newcomers Jinel Lausa verses Baggio's Adam "Hell Boy" Cacay face off in the cage. Cacay calling it quits after Lausa bringing on the strikes it was game over for Cacay in round two.
Undefeated Zebastian Kadestam verses Filipino Hawaiian from The B.J. Penn Academy Ross "The Boss" Ebanez - at took was a kick straight to the head and Kadestam ends up the winner.
Fourth fight of the night - the lightweights - going the distance Glen Ranillo verses Isaiah "Ice Man" Ordiz... After touching leather all three rounds by unanimous decision the judges gave Ranillo the victory.
Next one of the most highly anticipated matchups Roland Gabriel Dy son of a WBC champion verses undefeated Guam boy Kyle 'Boom' Reyes. This one also going the distance. After round three it was by unanimous decision Dy wins the bout.
In the flyweight division newcomer Roldan Sangchaan verses the explosive Ernesto Montilla Jr. After the kickboxing match in the first round it was Sangchaan with an impressive finish for his PXC debut fight, securing a rear naked choke in round two against Montilla.
Another awesome bantamweight bout - Hawaiian prodigy Louis Smolka verses PI striker Jessie Rafols. Smolka laying down the pain and it was aloha for Rafols and Smokla getting a rear naked choke in the first round.
And it was the main event the featherweight championship fight. Seasoned PXC veteran captain of the Korean Top Team Jang Yong Kim verses undefeated Mark Striegl. After three long rounds it was Kim who ended up wearing the belt handing Striegl his first loss by scissor leg choke.
