Guam - A memorandum of understanding was signed this morning between Green Energy Solutions Incorporated and Darfon Electronics Corporation out of Taiwan. The signing would allow Green Energy Solutions to be the exclusive distributor of Darfon's micro inverter technology.
According to GESI president Alfred Lam, the micro inverter converts direct current to alternating current that feeds into the grid and slows down the meter. "Basically we want to help the people in Guam able to buy and purchasing solar energy and solar energy comes from this process," he explained.
Darfon representatives were on island to attend the event as were the Guam Energy Office, the Guam Renewable Energy Association and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce.
