Guam - Guam's highest ranked Bantamweight, Kyle Aguon, is set for the toughest fight of his young career against Hawaii's top Bantamweight Russel Doane this Friday at PXC 38. Russel Doane (8-1) and his only loss of his career, is to PXC's current Bantamweight Champ Michinori Tanaka. This bout will establish who gets the next title shot against Tanaka later this year.

Aguon said, "Right now the title holder is Michinori Tanaka, he just beat Russel Doane a couple of PXC'S ago so my game plan for this fight is to put the pace on him and use my wrestling. I'm going to feel him out because I'm a lot longer and wherever the fight goes I'm going to try and take it that way. Recently Frank Camacho has been here and it has been a pleasure working with Frank and he's been training with Alliance and getting that experience so training with Frank has been good along with some of the guys here. Wrestling with Melchor, he has been coaching the classes. Jolo along with all my other training partners Jeff, my cousin Justin and my cousin Nate have been helping out. I did a couple of wads at Crossfit Latte Stone and it has been pretty good so I have added a bunch of sprints a lot of cardio and a lot of wrestling. I've been going back to wrestling again."
