Guam - Keith Palacios squared up against Jon Lefever at 160 pounds in the first fight of the night of Preba Hao held at the Guam Greyhound Park. Palacios didn't waste any time getting the fight underway and earned the 1st round win by verbal submission.
Dan Fejeran took on Eric Reyes in the 125-pound division. Both fighters gave everything they had looking to move up in rankings. After 3 hard fought rounds it was Eric Reyes coming away with the decision win.
Mike Ulloa and Rocky Quichocho took to the cage in open match up, which was the only heavyweight fight of the night. Quichocho weathered a low blow by Ulloa after a big exchange and came back to win in stunning fashion. Rocky caught Ulloa with a shot and then took the mount and picked up the referee stoppage win.
In the 150-pound weight class Junar Jesus and Tanner Santos scrapped it up. Santos rocked Jesus early in the fight but couldn't finish him off. Jesus kept his composure and secured dominant control and landed several unanswered shots to eventually earn the referee stoppage win in round 1.
Jess Naputi and Jason Mendiola took to the cage in another open match up. Naputi weighed in at 199 pounds, while Jason Mendiola came in much lighter at 176 pounds. Naputi was able to force Mendiola to tap just before the end of round 1.
Adrian Davis squared off in another 145-pound match up. Davis took on Paul Muna. Muna went in for the early takedown but lost position as the fight went on. Adrian Davis worked his way to get the mount and landed some punches and staples for the referee stoppage win.
Don Rasa took to the cage against Derek Padrones in the 135-pound division. Rasa worked his way from Padrones guard and took the mount. Rasa rained down with unanswered shots got the win by referee stoppage just before the bell rang in round 1.
Angel Oliveras and Ray Mendiola meet up in the lightweight division. Oliveras defeated Mendiola by TKO in the second round of their 130 pound bout. Oliveras was the fresher of the two in the second round and worked his ground and pound for the win.
Jose Ramirez defeated Jerome Lefever by referee stoppage. Ramirez let his hands go from the sound of the bell and kept pressing forward. Jose pinned Jerome against the cage and finished him off for the first round win.
Ryan Tongohan and Ryan Toves met up in the 1st of 2 155 pound fights scheduled for the lightweight tournament with the winners of each fight meeting in PXC in August. Toves the more experienced of the two fighters looked comfortable on his feet landing a solid kick followed by punches. Toves went on to win via referee stoppage to earn his spot in the next PXC event.
In the last fight of the night Josh Muna faced Raymond Salas in the 155-pound division. Muna used his wrestling to get in for the takedown and went straight to work. Josh Muna earned the submission win by armbar. With the win Muna goes on to face Ryan Toves in the PXC event scheduled for August.
