Guam - Tyrone Jones is set to take on Japan fighter Koshi Matsumoto in PXC 36 this Friday. Tyrone will be stepping into the cage at 155-pounds and looks to mix it up with his opponent come fight night. Jones has his been preparing for the fight with his brother Trevin as a training partner tuning up his game with one of the best local fighters in the game.
Tyrone Jones told KUAM Sports, "I don't know too much about him, I heard he's a good wrestler and I heard he is good at taking his opponents down so I've been working on my takedown defense and my clinch game. I heard he is a good wrestler so I'm ready to take the fight wherever it goes. I have good jiu-jitsu and he is a good wrestler so I have the perfect counter style for his wrestling, so we'll so how it goes."
