Guam - The Edward M. Calvo Cancer Foundation is proud to present the 3rd annual Guam is Good Wine, Food and Art Festival, on Saturday, March 2nd from 6:00pm to 10:00 pm at the Cars Plus Showroom in Maite. The event will feature an array of wines paired with a diverse variety of foods from the island's best restaurants and chefs. Patrons this year will also receive a commemorative wine glass for the occasion. The unique art show that accompanies the wine tasting and pairing includes an eclectic mix of art created by a special panel of guest artists including business leaders, media personalities and dignitaries in addition to local artists. Their artistic interpretation of the Foundation's slogan "Guam is Good" will be on display and up for auction during the event. Event Chairperson Jennifer Calvo Quitugua anticipates another wonderful evening from this festive event saying, "This annual fundraiser brings out the best in our community. From our local artists who donate their time and talents to create these beautiful works of art, to the chefs who prepare the delicious foods, and the patrons and sponsors who join us in celebrating and promoting the Foundation's mission, we look forward to another beautiful evening."

The mission of the Edward M. Calvo Cancer Foundation is to provide financial grants to those battling cancer in our local community. Since its inception in 2004, The Foundation has given over $1,000,000 in grants to local residents battling cancer. These grants assist with travel, medicine and other patient needs.
