by Mindy Aguon

Guam - Two major shopping outlets could be under new ownership soon. Guam Premier Outlets general manager Monte Mesa confirms that a Japanese investor has expressed an interest in purchasing GPO and the Tumon Sands Plaza.  Mesa was not at liberty to disclose the name of the foreign investor, but confirmed that there are ongoing discussions and he is hopeful a deal will be closed by the end of the month.

GPO and Tumon Sands Plaza are currently owned by The Mills Group out of Hawaii. There's no word on how much the proposed deal is worth.
