NOAA wants Guam's input on coral

by Krystal Paco

Guam - The National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration is looking for on a draft management report for 82 species of corals petitioned for listing under the endangered species act in 2009. A meeting for Guam residents is scheduled for this evening at 6 and will run through 9pm at the Hilton Hotel in Tumon.

Another Guam meeting is set for Wednesday at the Santa Rita Community Center from 6-9. The NOAA met with our neighbors in the CNMI last week.

The meetings are an opportunity for the public to voice their concerns. For more information, visit www.nmfs.noaa.gov
