Guam - The Public Utilities Commission met last night where commissioners briefly discussed the recent order handed down by Superior Court Judge Michael Bordallo that found the PUC exceeded its statutory authority when ordering GWA to pay $18.3 million to the General Fund. According to legal counsel Fred Horecky, commissioners moved to refer the issue to its administrative law judge for recommendations as to what action the PUC should take next.

The PUCmeanwhile also approved three Guam Power Authority proposals relative to contract reviews, environmental issues and proceeding ahead with its smart grid program.
