Guam - The luminarias that are displayed and lit during the American Cancer Society's annual Relay for Life event are on sale. If you've ever participated in the Relay for Life, then you know just how special and emotional the luminaria ceremony is. You can either purchase the luminaria bag from your relay for life team member or contact the Guam Chapter of the American Cancer Society's office at 477-9451.
When you do buy your bag, you're asked to personalize it and show who it's dedicated to. It can be dedicated to someone who lost their life to cancer or can honor those who have battled and won. In addition this year, if you purchase a luminaria for $12 you have the option to purchase a dedication in the 2012 commemorative Relay for Life Luminaria Booklet. Each dedication is available for $10 and are due by next Tuesday, April 17. The dedications for the luminaria booklet are available in addition to the luminaria bag for an additional $10.
