Guam - Local and federal law enforcement authorities arrested four people in connection with importation of a Schedule II controlled substance after they found several mail parcels containing crystal methampethamine. Jasmine Godoy, Jesse Galves, Michael Garrido and Erica Manibusan were arrested after picking up a package from the post office.
According to court documents, a U.S. postal package arrived to Guam, addressed to a home in Liguan Terrace in Dededo, containing ten grams of the drug Ice. Authorities found another package containing 3.5 grams packaged in wrapping and protein containers. Godoy (who is six months pregnant) admitted to authorities that she would often get mail for Paul Manibusan and would be compensated with several plates of crystal meth that should would smoke and sell to support her family.
Manibusan admitted picking up packages for her uncle but denied knowing what they contained.
The four were charged with importation, attempted importation, conspiracy to import and conspiracy to distribute a Schedule II controlled substance.
