Guam - Pacific Xtreme Combat, Guam's premiere mixed martial arts event company, announced today it's expanding regionally with the launch of the event PXC Philippines this June.  Last month, PXC joined forces with Philippine media partner TV5, the fastest growing television network in the country, signing a partnership agreement that would bring PXC events to millions of viewers and help grow the sport of mixed martial arts in the Philippines.

PXC general manager E.J. Calvo was present at the signing and was excited to announce the partnership. "They're exactly what we are looking for and exactly like us. Aggressive, young and excited to do these kinds of innovative events, I think this is the right time for MMA fights in the Philippines," he said.

Since PXC first stepped on the scene in 2004, it's been the driving force of Mixed Martial Arts on Guam, creating an international stage for world-class athletes from several countries, and launching the professional careers of Guam's top mixed martial arts fighters.  The move to expand regionally to the Philippines is the first of many as PXC is also working on expansion throughout other countries in Asia.

PXC vice president and fight promoter Eli Monge said the alliance will undoubtedly mean great things for the company and the sport.
