Angels aerial attack too much for Chargers

Guam - The Shell Hal's Angels and DOCOMO Chargers took to the gridiron for some Miller Football League action at the UOG Field in Mangilao. Steve Phillips and the Angels went up 6-0 when wideout Jared Ada pulled down the reception in the right corner of the end zone.

Phillips and the Angels added another score before halftime, as speedy Josh Bulla took a Phillips pass over the middle and turned on the jets to break away from the defense and make his way to the house for the 76-yard touchdown grab.

Jacob Dowdell and the Chargers shook it off in the 2nd half and went to the run-and-shoot offense. Dowdell marched the Chargers down field and set himself up for a 1-yard quarterback keeper up the middle. That was DOCOMO's only score of the game as the Angels went on to win 29-8, after Mike James awed the crowd by taking swing pass from QB Will Williams and dashing 65 yards for the score.
