Guam - While the governor meets with Navy officials to discuss the Programmatic Agreement and the military buildup, attorneys for the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Guam Preservation Trust, and We Are Guahan will have a meet-and-confer conference call with the Justice Department and Navy lawyers tomorrow.

Attorney Nicholas Yost says by mutual agreement, the Department of Defense now has until February 14 to respond to the lawsuit that was filed back in November. A case management conference has also been scheduled for that same day in Hawaii. Yost adds they continue discussions with the justice department to obtain the complete administrative record.

The suit stems from the DoD's decision to put a live firing range next to the historic village of Pagat.
