by Mindy Aguon
Guam - Governor-elect Eddie Calvo is headed to Colorado for the National Governor's Association's Seminar for New Governors in the hopes to get some best practices on financial management. Calvo says one of the incoming administration's immediate priorities is to fix the government's financial problems ahead of the economic buildup and retire the debt and provide services efficiently.
After being sworn-in in January the Calvo-Tenorio Administration intends to empanel the Guam First Commission and work with Congresswoman Madeleine Bordallo to fight for the island's agenda that includes war reparations, compact impact reconciliation, visa waiver programs and funding for infrastructure upgrades.
